The Austin Tango Marathon opens with a pre-milonga at Esquina Tango on the Thursday night before the weekend proper. 8pm to midnight, $10 suggested donation. Open to everyone, not just marathon registrants — a good way to catch the visiting dancers before the marathon moves out to Ben Hur Shrine.
