The Austin Tango Marathon opens at Ben Hur Shrine with DJ Phyllis Williams, 7pm to 1am, light refreshments. Two floors run across the weekend for traditional and alternative tango, with no classes and no shows — social dancing only. Tier 4 pricing (through Sept 6) is $239 full pass, $191 student with ID, $438 couple; daily passes are sold separately.
