📝 About This Event
The 27th Fire Ant Frolic, TAADA's contra dance weekend, opens at the Ben Hur Shriners ballroom with an evening of contra dancing to Nimbus (Cedar Stanistreet, Rosie O'Neill, Ness Smith-Savedoff and Brian Lindsay) with Will Mentor calling, 8 to 11pm with one break. Check-in from 7pm and warm-up waltzing to recorded music at 7:30pm. It's Friday the 13th, so bad-luck outfits or good-luck charms are admired, not required. The evening is $40 on its own; a full weekend registration is $140 through Oct 12 and $150 after.
