๐ About This Event
The Austin-area chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism (the Barony of Bryn Gwlad) runs a monthly dance practice for western European historical dance. English country dance is the most modern style they cover, with the rest reaching back through the Renaissance to pre-17th century forms. Dances are taught on the spot, so no experience or partner is needed, and there is no cost to attend. Held on the third Tuesday at the University Hills branch library; October 20 is in Meeting Room 1. The meeting place occasionally shifts for a month, so check the chapter calendar before heading out.
