The Fed is THE place for swing dancing in Austin! Hosted by Austin Swing Syndicate since 1999, this Thursday night tradition draws 100+ dancers weekly. The historic Texas Federation of Women's Clubs building features a gorgeous wood floor and elegant atmosphere. Free intro lesson at 8:15pm, then social dancing 9pm to midnight. Lindy Hop, East Coast Swing, and some West Coast Swing. DJ'd music with occasional live bands. Members pay $5, non-members $8. Live band nights are $15-20.
