📝 About This Event
Austin Swing Syndicate's Thursday night tradition — the longest-running weekly swing dance in Austin, hosted since 1999. After 27 years at The Fed (TFWC Mansion), the dance moved to Cherrywood Center in August 2026. Doors at 7pm; Social Dance Connections 7:15–8:10pm; a Style Sampler class 7:30–8:30pm that rotates through the month (Blues 1st week, Lindy Hop 2nd, Balboa 3rd, Shag 4th); Intro to Swing 8:15–9pm; then social dancing 9pm to midnight, DJ'd or with a live band. The 1st Thursday of the month is a Social Blues Dance and the 3rd Thursday has a Jazz Jam band. Members pay $5, non-members $8; live-band nights are $15 members / $20 non-members.
